Pen-y-Lon Physiotherapy and Occupational Health is taking every action to protect its staff and customers during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Whilst many things may have changed over recent months, our commitment to you hasn’t. Safety and infection control are paramount to us and in recent weeks, we have been continually reviewing guidance to ensure we are providing a safe environment for our patients and team members. Planning our return to work has been ongoing for some weeks now and we have updated our operating procedures, increased our safety protocols as well as purchased enhanced PPE.
As a result of these increased protocols, your visit to the clinic may look and feel different than usual. Our team members will be wearing enhanced PPE and promoting social distancing, but rest assured we are still the team you know and trust.
Furthermore, a risk assessment has been undertaken for each clinic in line with CSP, ACPOHE, PhysioFirst protocols and cleaning protocol has been implemented.
We are currently open at the following clinics for face-to-face appointments:
- Mold
- Ruthin
- Colwyn Bay (Coed Pella)
You will be invited to an appointment after we have screened you by telephone.
For patients who cannot or do not want to attend at this time, we are offering video consultations.
When attending your appointment, please understand that you will not be treated unless you are wearing a face covering but you will still be charged. Disposable masks can be purchased from us at £1 per mask, however this is subject to availability.
You will have your temperature recorded upon arrival, and we will ask for your details to be documented for contact tracing purposes if the need arises.
If you begin to develop COVID-19 symptoms before your appointment or are called for contact tracing, please inform Pen-y-Lon as soon as possible.
