About your first visit to Pen Y Lôn

At Pen Y Lôn, we pride ourselves in not only treating the injury but also ensuring each patient understands the causes, to help prevent injury recurrence. Discussion and education helps to reduce anxiety and build individuals confidence during the treatment and recovery process.

 

Initial Assessment comprises of two key elements:

 

Subjective Examination
Questions regarding your current complaint and general health.

 

Physical Examination
Observations and physical tests essential to produce an accurate assessment and enable the appropriate treatment to be administered.


After the initial assessment, the physiotherapist will explain your condition, discuss any treatment needed and give advice on care and exercise.  If you have any questions during the appointment please don't hesitate to ask.

What should I wear?
